About Andrew Myers Nobbs

Since leaving School, I have worked in the service and repair industry, starting as a junior field service engineer, working my way through a mixture of coin-operated equipment through to Point of Sale and cash management systems. I was promoted to various levels, including senior engineer, technical support, technical and product specialist and team leader.

During the latter part of my technical career, I was given the opportunity to provide health and safety support for a company, from which I decided to diversify my career prospects and gain experience and qualifications in a new field of work.

I am the lead volunteer for my local Scout Group. I also support the Scout Adult Training Scheme, supporting adults through their training journey.

Director – East Finchley Festival – Health and Safety Coordinator.

I have a keen interest in Cold War history and can spend time researching the nature and political preparations of the Cold War.
